Lite Wallet v3.16.0 is available for Windows (.exe), macOS (.dmg), and Linux (.zip) as signed installers hosted at litewallet.dev. iOS and Android versions are distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. All desktop binaries have for verification. Lite Wallet is non-custodial — the first-run flow generates a 12-word paper key that is the single recovery path.

Install on Windows

Lite Wallet for Windows ships as a signed .exe installer. Download the file, run it, and follow the setup flow.

  1. Download the installer

    Click 'Download for Windows' above. Your browser saves LiteWallet-Setup-v3.16.0.exe to your Downloads folder.

  2. Run the installer

    Double-click the .exe. Windows may show a 'Windows protected your PC' screen — click 'More info' → 'Run anyway' to continue. The installer is signed; future releases will register with Microsoft SmartScreen.

  3. Complete setup

    Follow the installer through install location and shortcut options. Lite Wallet opens on completion.

  4. Create or restore your wallet

    On first launch, either generate a new 12-word paper key (write it down, store it offline) or restore an existing wallet by entering your paper key.

Install on macOS

Lite Wallet for macOS ships as a notarized .dmg. Mount the disk image, drag Lite Wallet to Applications, and launch.

  1. Download the disk image

    Click 'Download for macOS' above. Your browser saves LiteWallet-v3.16.0.dmg.

  2. Mount and install

    Open the .dmg. Drag the Lite Wallet icon onto the Applications folder shortcut.

  3. Launch Lite Wallet

    Open Applications → Lite Wallet. On first launch, macOS confirms the notarized app. If prompted, open System Settings → Privacy & Security → 'Open Anyway'.

  4. Create or restore your wallet

    Generate a new 12-word paper key or restore an existing wallet. Store the paper key offline.

Install on Linux

Lite Wallet for Linux ships as a .zip archive containing the signed binary and a launcher script.

  1. Download the archive

    Click 'Download for Linux' above. Your browser saves LiteWallet-v3.16.0.zip.

  2. Extract the archive

    unzip LiteWallet-v3.16.0.zip into a directory of your choice, for example ~/apps/litewallet.

  3. Verify (recommended)

    Verify the publisher signature on the Lite Wallet binary matches the Lite Wallet organization.

  4. Run Lite Wallet

    Execute ./LiteWallet from the extracted folder, or create a .desktop shortcut for your launcher.

  5. Create or restore your wallet

    Generate a new 12-word paper key or restore an existing wallet via the first-run dialog.

Install on iOS

Lite Wallet for iOS is distributed through the App Store.

  1. Open the App Store

    Tap the 'App Store' button above or search 'Lite Wallet' directly in the App Store.

  2. Install Lite Wallet

    Tap 'Get' to install. Apple handles signing and distribution.

  3. Launch and set up

    Open Lite Wallet. Generate a new 12-word paper key or restore an existing wallet. Enable Face ID or Touch ID for quick unlock.

Install on Android

Lite Wallet for Android is distributed through Google Play.

  1. Open Google Play

    Tap the 'Google Play' button above or search 'Lite Wallet' directly in the Play Store.

  2. Install Lite Wallet

    Tap 'Install'. Google Play handles signing and distribution.

  3. Launch and set up

    Open Lite Wallet. Generate a new 12-word paper key or restore. Enable biometric unlock.

Verify your download

Every Lite Wallet desktop binary is code-signed by the Lite Wallet organization. Verify the publisher name on the installer before running it.
