Windows

Download LiteWallet-Setup-v3.16.0.exe from the Windows button on /download. SmartScreen may warn on first launch — the signature publisher should read 'Lite Wallet'. If it doesn't, you downloaded from a fake mirror; return to litewallet.dev and retry. Double-click the installer, follow the prompts, launch the app. Lite Wallet is typically installed to `%LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\LiteWallet`.

macOS

Download LiteWallet-v3.16.0.dmg from the macOS button. Double-click to mount the disk image. Drag LiteWallet.app to your Applications folder. First launch: right-click LiteWallet.app, select Open, confirm the Gatekeeper prompt. Lite Wallet is notarized with Apple — if Gatekeeper still blocks, verify you're running macOS 12 or later (minimum supported version).

Linux

Download LiteWallet-v3.16.0.zip from the Linux button. Extract: `unzip LiteWallet-v3.16.0.zip`. Make the binary executable: `chmod +x LiteWallet`. Launch: `./LiteWallet` or double-click in your file manager. Tested on Ubuntu 22.04+, Debian 12+, Fedora 38+, and Arch. Requires: GTK 3.24+, OpenSSL 3, libsecret. iOS and Android

iOS: open the App Store and search 'Lite Wallet', or tap the iOS button on /download which deep-links to the App Store listing. Publisher is the Lite Wallet organization. Minimum iOS 16. Android: Google Play search 'Lite Wallet' or tap the Android button on /download. Verify the developer name before installing — there are imitator wallets with similar names. Minimum Android 10.

Verify publisher signature (desktop)

Before installing, verify the publisher signature on the file. On Windows, right-click the .exe → Properties → Digital Signatures and confirm the signer is the Lite Wallet organization. On macOS, the .dmg is Apple-notarized and Gatekeeper will reject tampered builds. If the signature is invalid or missing, do not install — redownload from litewallet.dev.

First run

Launch LiteWallet. Choose 'Create new wallet' (new users) or 'Restore from paper key' (returning users). Creating new: Lite Wallet generates a 12-word paper key. Write it down on physical paper. Do not photograph, screenshot, or type into any digital device. Verify the words in the order shown. Set a device password or biometric unlock. You now have a functional Litecoin wallet.
