Can I use a Ledger or Trezor with Lite Wallet on iPhone?

Not with a direct USB-C or Bluetooth connection in v3.16.0. Import a watch-only xpub on iOS to track balances, and sign transactions from a desktop Lite Wallet connected to the hardware device. Direct mobile pairing is planned for a future release.

If I use Lite Wallet on iPhone and switch to Android later, will my wallet carry over?

Lite Wallet for iPhone

The iOS build of Lite Wallet ships the same version, on the same release day, as Windows, macOS, and Linux — MWEB privacy and LitVM included. Here's what to expect setting it up, and the one thing that currently works differently on mobile.

Overview

Lite Wallet is a non-custodial Litecoin wallet available on the App Store for iPhone and iPad. Several Litecoin wallets support MWEB on one platform but not another — desktop without mobile, or Android without iOS. Lite Wallet's iOS build ships the identical MWEB implementation as desktop, on the same version and the same release day. LitVM support is also native on iOS: LTC-20 tokens appear in the same balance view as LTC, with no separate dapp browser required and gas paid automatically in LTC.

Requirements

iOS 15 or later, on an iPhone or iPad. There's no separate iPad-specific build — the same app runs on both. Lite Wallet is free to download, with no account or sign-up required to use it.

Setup on iPhone

Takes a few minutes, most of it the initial blockchain sync.

Install from the App Store
Search "Lite Wallet" on the App Store, or use the download link on this site to go straight to the listing.
Create or restore
On first launch, choose "Create new wallet" for a fresh 12-word paper key, or "Restore existing wallet" if you already have one from another platform.
Write down your paper key
If creating new, write the 12 words down on paper and confirm them when prompted. This is the only way to recover the wallet — Lite Wallet doesn't store it.
Enable biometric unlock
Turn on Face ID or Touch ID for day-to-day access. This protects the app on this device; it's separate from, and not a substitute for, the 12-word paper key.
Wait for sync
Lite Wallet reconstructs your balance from the Litecoin blockchain on first run. After that, launches are near-instant.

What's different on iOS (for now)

Everything in Lite Wallet works the same on iOS as on desktop, with one current exception: Ledger and Trezor hardware wallets can't pair directly over USB-C or Bluetooth in v3.16.0. If you use a hardware wallet and want cold-key signing on mobile, import a watch-only public key (xpub) on iOS to view balances and prepare transactions, then complete signing from a desktop Lite Wallet connected to your hardware device. Direct mobile hardware-wallet pairing is on the roadmap.
